When a parent is faced with the death of an infant through miscarriage, infant death or stillbirth, we reach out to them with a packet showing God’s love through our sewing skills, silently saying, "You are loved."

At this time, a gift is containing a bonnet, dress, blanket and a prayer for healing of a broken heart is given. All items are handmade and donated by ladies who are part of Helen's Chapter, who show their love for the Lord by using their sewing talents in serving Him.

Today Helen’s Chapter has over 25 sewers and knitters across Western North Carolina donating thread and love to this ministry, and more help is always needed.

Helen's Story

Helen Louise was stillborn at 39 weeks on All Saint’s Sunday, November 2005. Her parents received a gown that she was baptized and buried in. This loving gesture helped them to honor her, heal their hearts and give back to the families of loss in Western North Carolina.
